Morning Calm Tales: Lunar New Year on Mount Seorak

 

My latest Morning Calm Tales, "Lunar New Year on Mount Seorak," was published in the Korea Times today.

I was fortunate that, during my first two years in Korea, I got to see a lot of the country.

Without question, this was one of my most memorable trips, happening two months (not six weeks as I mistakenly wrote in the essay) after I first arrived in Korea. 

It is one of those memories of Korea that reminds me just how much I love Korea and why, after all these years, I'm still here.
